I painted this as the last in a series of three large paintings featruing the same glass bowl.

First in the series were apples from the orchard against a red cloth, second painting features lovely Conference Pears on a deep ultramarine cloth and lastly i wanted to test myself by paitung a white on white picture. By chance i found the pearly white onions at the supermarket.. I wanted to capture their greeny/ pink luminance  Because I didn't want the onions to start sprouting, I worked nearly every day for several weeks. I'm particularly proud of this painting and I know I couldnt have done it any better>

The canvas is three feet sq, and the frame is 3" wide.

If you love this painting and want to buy it,once purchased I can calculate crating and shipping costs   depending on where it's

going. I only use professional art movers so the work will arrive safely.

I also have some lovely giclée prints available and they are approx 2' sq
